Read Genesis 46
The family, and what will be the nation of Israel, is moving to Egypt. There are some very interesting contrasts to the going and the leaving. Pharaoh sends wagons and a moving team to bring them in. When they leave they're first chased out then chased to be brought back. I like the beginning of this where Jacob takes time to worship and make offerings to God. And the assurances from God that his descendants will some day come back from Egypt to the land that God promised them. Jacob travels to Egypt with just 70 people.
