Matthew 2 What it means, Bethlehem

Read Matthew 2

This being just a week past Christmas these stories are still fresh in our minds, that Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judah. The distinction is important because there was more than one city of Bethlehem.

But the meaning of the name is quite interesting, in Hebrew it means house of bread. Indeed it was the house of bread, The Bread of Life.
