Exodus 29 An offering every morning and every evening

Read Exodus 29

Israel is to bring two lambs one year old each day as offerings to God. Simple math tells us that they are sacrificing more than 700 lambs each year. I get several different ideas from this. First is trusting that as they continue to sacrifice lambs that God will continue to give them more. There is a blood requirement to atone for sins, just can't get around that. But also there is a smell. I can't imagine how much land the people of Israel occupies while traveling, but everyone that was anywhere near the tabernacle, and later the city of Jerusalem, would smell the cooking meat both morning and evening and be reminded of the offering to God. We should still make morning and evening offerings to God. A sacrifice of time and praise. A sweet aroma to God.
