Exodus 31 Equipped for service

Read Exodus 31

God names specific people to whom He gave special talents. That's pretty cool, from the millions of Israelites God calls out two by name. It also states that He gave talents to all able men to do what He has commanded. That's still true. It's fascinating to watch any one who is a master at his (her) craft. Their movements simply flow, there is little thought process involved, they just know what to do next. It could be an artist painting, a clerk organizing files, a pianist, a barber, or an athlete. In each of us God has placed a talent to do something that is so much a part of who we are that it requires no thought, we just do it. Here He says He did this to make all of the stuff for the tabernacle, today He does it so we can all come together with varied talents and make up the church.
