Mark 4 Plant seeds

Read Mark 4

In this chapter we see different examples of planting seeds. Each has a different effectiveness. In some cases we can just throw seeds and have results. Others need more work. When I was growing up my dad planted a large garden each year. Late in the winter and early spring he would plow the field, the soil was extremely hard and rocky and we would follow the plow and remove rocks. I was amazed how rocks would come back each year. Then he planted vegetables, each had different requirements, seed depth, spacing and the soil. He tried potatoes and carrots a few times with little luck as the ground was just too hard. Corn, beans peas and tomatoes grew well though. There is a lesson here, some people are pretty rocky ground and need a lot of plowing, where some we can just throw a seed at them and it will grow. It's hard to tell what will be effective where.

Today's workout,  Step, grapevine, burpee, windmill, jump rope, weight swing. 36 intervals.
