January 14, Deuteronomy 16

January 14, Deuteronomy 16

Israel's pilgrimage feasts, three times each year all the men are to travel to Jerusalem for festivals.
It's important to have festivals to remember where we have come from and how much we've changed.  Sometimes change isn't so good and if we fail to remember the past we will repeat it.
For Israel these were to remember the first Passover and Exodus, to give thanks for a harvest, and to remember that they lived in tents in the wilderness yet still we live in tents as this body is not our permanent home.  The key word in all of this is rejoice.  Have great joy in all that God has done, remember His mighty works, and thank Him for His provisions.

Today's wrkout Back, High knees, pull-up, windmills or good-mornings, alternate high and low row, climbers, T.  36 intervals.
