January 20, Deuteronomy 22

January 20, Deuteronomy 22

The first part of this chapter deals with treating other's property.  The text reads 'brother' but the word could be translated as any near relative, a possible better translation might be cousin as we are dealing with the nation of Israel.  In today's standards I'd change it to neighbor.  If we love our neighbor then we would care for stray animals or lost property. The second portion dealing with sexual misconduct seems fairly straight forward with the only caveat being that women had no rights aside from sexual consent, and even that was limited by their father.  Fortunately here in the west that has changed yet in many places women are still considered property.

Today's workout, week 3 day 2 chest shoulder blitz. 5 sets 10 reps 40 seconds between sets.
Low push-up, dip, hug, shoulder press, lateral raise.  FInish with 15:00 any cardio.
