May 17, II Samuel 10

May 17, II Samuel 10

The first part of this seems like a skit from Monty Python, imagine a king shaving off half of someone's head and beard and cutting their robe to a mini skirt length.  It would be comical and a great insult.  Certainly there is a bit of humor in the scriptures.  I imagine that when David and his men met up with these ambassadors there were more than a few chuckles.  In the end it becomes a war, all because some people became greedy and lied to the new king.  War is always because someone has become greedy.

Today's workout. back-biceps intervals.  Step, total gym or strap pull up, windmill, row, jump rope, biceps curl.
