July 11, I Kings 7:12-51

July 11, I Kings 7:12-51

Solomon hired Hiram of Tyre to make the temple items.  Hiram was apparently the most skilled artist working in metals and Solomon spared no expense. Items to note, all of the pieces that were outside the temple are made of bronze and all inside the temple are gold.
That shows how man, being outside and separated from God is un-pure and corruptible, but God, represented by gold is pure and incorruptible.  To get an idea of the sizes, the sea as it's called here was a large bowl placed on the oxen, to hold 2000 baths, which is around 12000 gallons, it could be a circle 60 feet across and 5 feet deep. And the thickness was a handbreadth, 3-4 inches.

Today's workout, back biceps intervals.
Step up, pull up, burpee, biceps curl, jump rope, row, windmill, T.
