August 22, 1 Kings 21:17-29 Ahab is guilty

August 22, 1 Kings 21:17-29  Ahab is guilty

Picture this, Ahab has taken the vineyard and he's walking through it.  He's happy and smiling, he has a large cluster of grapes in one hand and he's eating them.  Right now life is good.  Then he hears a voice, it's a familiar voice, it's Elijah. Suddenly Ahab feels this heavyness in his chest.  Do you remember a time as a child you were doing something wrong and in the middle of it your mom or dad simply said your name?  I think that's what Ahab felt.  He at first tries to bluster a bit, he calls Elijah his enemy when in fact Ahab is his own worst enemy.  But there is still something left in Ahab, when confronted by his sin he feels remorse and repentance.  And God shows him mercy, people frequently ask what is the unpardonable sin, some actually fear that they've committed it.  It is any sin for which you don't ask frogiveness because your spirit has become so hardened that you don't think you've sinned.

Today's workout, back biceps intervals.
