While it says that they found the book of The Law it could be any of the books written by Moses. It's historically believed the book found was Deuteronomy, specifically chapters 28-31. This begins with the promise of blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. It even outlines specifically what Israel was not to do, which they did exactly that. King Josiah has turned his heart to God and when he sees what the people have done, and knowing what The Word says he is grieved. I get this, I look at what we've done here in the U.S. in just the last decades. As a nation we worship people and things, we destroy life because it's convenient, and we deny that God exists. We're too afraid of offending someone than to speak truth. We've become obsessed with individualism and personal gratification. These promises are specifically to Israel but the principles are still the same. Serving God comes with blessings, rebelling against God comes with curses.
