November 2, Luke 2:1-7 Mary and Joseph go to Bethlehem

It's the familiar Christmas story, even the pagans in the world recognize it, Joseph walks alongside his pregnant wife while she rides a donkey. How much of that image is true is unknown. But I got to thinking about this. How many of us have been called by God to do something and we procrastinate? Or maybe we make excuses for not doing it. This isn't scripture certainly, just a passing thought but what if at some time earlier, maybe during Mary's fourth or fifth month, God tried to move Joseph and Mary and they didn't go? Now it's getting closer to The Event so God uses a pagan king to compel them to go. Hmm, something to ponder.

Today's workout Leg intervals.
