There's a pretty broad question, it could pertain to a number of things. While the returned Jews rebuilt the wall their enemies were apparent and they maintained a certain diligence to stand ready. Today the enemies are more subtle and not so obvious. Are we ready for an attack? It could be physical or spiritual but be certain that there are places in our world where attacks occur on a daily basis. Most of us fall into a daily routine that becomes predictable, we don't even think about the potential dangers. I don't want to seem paranoid, certainly the threat here in the US isn't as bad as in the Middle East but could it be? Part of being ready is mental preparedness and another part is knowing The Word. Spend some time daily with God and occasionally think about what you would do in an emergency.
