January 4, Luke 22:24-34 We all say and do dumb things

I understand competition, I've played a lot of different sports, I do mud runs and there's a certain rush to winning and although not as high, a  certain satisfaction in not finishing last. But sometimes we work as a team and then it's not about who can do what or who is better. Why do we need to compare ourselves when we all have the same goal? God has given His church different gifts to accomplish His will, find peace in what your gift and do it to the best that you can. We look at Peter as he makes this bold statement, I'll go with you to prison or death. Ever make a promise in haste? Sure we have, all of us do and then it's humbling to fail. Jesus said not to swear to anything, don't make pledges that we can't keep, and don't make excuses. Say simply yes or no.

Today's workout, chest shoulder intervals
